4. Where will the competition be held?

COMBAT MISSIONS will be filmed at a secret military base at an undisclosed location.

COMMENT: First of all, there are no secret military bases. Look on any map. They are there. The filming location is at de - activated George Air Force Base in California. Of course, this location certain limits the kinds of scenarios one can encounter.

5. How many teams will compete?

Eight (8)teams of four (4) will compete in a 16 episode tournament.

6. What if I do not have a full team of four. Can I still apply?

Absolutely. You can apply as an individual or with a buddy or two. If you are applying alone or as an incomplete team, the producers will, at their discretion, place you on a team of four (4).

7. Should I also put an alternate on my team in case of injury?

No, alternates will be provided by the producers if a teammate cannot continue for any reason.

8. Can I bring a coach or support team to the competition?

No. Only competitors will be permitted on the base.

9. Do I need to bring my weapons and gear?

No. Everything is provided for you. All gear will be state-of-the-art military and law enforcement issue and will be provided at no cost.

COMMENT: What the producers talked to me about using was M-16s with MILES gear. Hardly state of the art, but sufficient for the yucks watching the show.

10. Will my expenses be paid?

Yes. All travel to and from the secret military base and housing expenses will be paid. The only expenses that you may incur are ancillary travel costs during the selection process of getting to-and-from contestant selection locations.

11. When will I be notified if I am selected?

The field will first be narrowed and you will be notified if you make the next cut by late February. Final selections will be made sometime in March.

12. What kind of weapons and ammo will we be using in the COMBAT MISSIONS?

For ammo, we plan to use "simunitions" which as many of you know, are simulated ammunitions that are commonly used in military and law enforcement training. Weapons will include: M-16 rifles, MP-5's, AK-47's as well as a variety of revolvers and pump shotguns.

COMMENT: When I questioned the producers, the yutzes had no idea what simunitions was and how it was used and the fact that the military does not use it. I
