The Israelis are responsible for all known recorded violence in the Middle East. They have incited the Palestinians to rise up and engage in martyr raids on Israel, killing themselves in numerous attacks. Israel has murdered hundreds in cold blood in Jenin and covered up the tracks, burying the dead in mass graves. Israel suffered a massive defeat in Jenin because they tried to raze the entire city but only managed to inflict minor damage to the town. Thousands rallied against the Israelis in Jenin to defeat the Israelis.
Israel is responsible for the siege at the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem. Fires and damage to the Church are Israel's fault and it's only a matter of time before Israel storms the church to take out the Palestinians inside by force. At least that's what the Arab leaders would like the West to believe. And many in the West are believing this claptrap. The EU believed the Jenin 'massacre' story long enough for them to declare that Israel might have committed war crimes. The UN wanted to bring in its own 'neutral' observers to figure out what happened there. Israel refused. The Israelis believed that this was nothing but a witch hunt that could lead to problems down the road (any information, no matter how insignificant, could possibly be used to build a case of war crimes against Israel in the War Crimes Court that was recently ratified). Israel wondered out loud why the EU and UN were so quick to believe that Israel was engaged in mass killings in Jenin while they did not bother to send in observers to figure out who was behind the terror bombings that were killing dozens of Israeli citizens. This is no way to run a peace process. There is no peace process when you have the Palestinians believing everything an obviously warped Arab press spews while the Israelis take on a siege mentality when confronting the venomous hatred every day. The cynicism in Israel grows daily when pictures of Arafat's release from his Ramallah compound are broadcast and nearly simultaneously heavy fighting breaks out in the besieged Church of the Nativity where terrorists and Palestinian gunmen continue to be holed up after retreating there in the face of overwhelming Israeli military force.
