As many are now aware, the World Trade Center - the gleaming steel ribbons that cut into the sky and are often the first visible landmark for those flying around NYC has been completely destroyed by two planes that were hijacked by terrorists with apparent Middle Eastern ties. I will be writing on a near daily basis to provide my views and insights since I work only 20 blocks from the WTC and knew many who worked and traveled through the area. Thankfully, I have been able to reach everyone and they are okay. I received an email on September 12, 2001 that contained contact and relief effort information from the Silicon Alley Daily. Here is the portion of their email that contained emergency relief numbers and other pertinent information for the New York Metro area (NY, NJ, CT). If you have additional numbers to add, please reply to this article so that all the information can be centralized. ===== by Catherine Calacanis For those of our readers in need of information about a loved one or looking for a way to help amid the chaos and grief, we have put together a list of resources.
