Kofi's Failures Demand Action

As I write, more than 800,000 died in Rwanda before the world stepped in and more than 210,000 have died in Sudan while Kofi Annan continues to claim that genocide is not occurring there. That is quite the butcher's bill for any one individual, and Kofi isn't even a dictator - just someone in charge of an organization that is easily bullied, corrupted, and stonewalled by dictators to permit a blind eye to genocide.

In sum, the case against Kofi is huge, and every passing day brings new revelations about the corruption and atrocities brought about by Kofi's failure to adhere to the UN Charter in the face of kleptocracies and totalitarian regimes who found the Secretariat easy to buy off and deflect the attentions on to those who sought compliance with UN resolutions and ideals.

It is well past time for Kofi to go.
