on the losing side and the mainstream media refused to call it last nite out of fear that Kerry would reenact the 2000 litigation debacle. Second, those foreign opinions don't count for much when they're coming from France - who opposed practically everything the US has done over the last four years, and has not lived up to its own obligations under UN and NATO agreements to assist in the rebuilding of Afghanistan (see above about elections in Afghanistan). 16) The disappearing need for lawyers. The Bush advantage in the popular vote in disputed states was more than enough to overcome any possible fraud. 17) The notion that Bush somehow stole the election because Diebold stole the election for him is taking hold in the fever swamps of the far Left. Get over it. This election, like in 2000, was not stolen. It was lost. By the candidate you put before the nation to stand against Bush. 18) Sudan continues to be a festering wound. The Sudanese army today removed refugees from camps. Not good news from there. 19) What role did the same sex marriage bans have on the electorate. 11 states decided rather emphatically that they believe marriage is between a man and woman. Traditional values and all that jazz certainly seems to favor GOP over DNC base. 20) Candidate who are condescending and act morally or intellectually superior to the electorate they're trying to convince to vote for them will not change anyone's minds. Republicans are no smarter or dumber than Democrats and the sooner Democrats recognize this, the sooner the DNC will heal itself. [editor note 9:22PM ET: I almost forgot. I really need to slip into my pajamas and get a good nite's sleep. I would have stayed in my pjs this morning, but work called. I may add additional musings in the days and weeks ahead, so keep an eye out for discussions based on this article.]
