Chicken Antibodies to the Rescue

and eat better. The great thing about this product is that no antibiotics are used.

To make this product Mark E. Cook has enlisted the help of some chickens. He gets chickens to make antibodies to CCK. When they lay an egg a large amount of these antibodies to CCK are present in the yolk of the egg. They then just obtain the egg yolks, dry them down, and then apply the material to the animal feed.

Hopefully, more products like this will be developed to help the farmers and at the same time stem the tide of antibiotic resistant bacteria. Sometimes necessity is the mother of invention. Fortunately, Dr. Cook's creativity and hard work is showing us new ways to solve old problems. Who knows maybe someday we will be taking chicken antibodies to suppress our hunger and reduce our own waist sizes.
