The Durban Declaration

has written several articles and books on this topic. Dr. Duesberg is a famous virologist who has specialized in studying viruses in the same family as HIV.

His basic arguments can be found at his website. Many of his arguments have been disproved when you look at the most recent data. In the early 1990's and the late 1980's his arguments would have been more convincing. However, now the data is not on his side. Unfortunately, responses to his arguments are hard to understand and full of jargon.

Over the next few weeks I intend on looking at the arguments he poses and will discuss why I believe they are weak arguments without all the scientific jargon. Why am I bothering to do this? Because if we get off the topic and chase after other causes of AIDS when the data is overwhelmingly in favor of HIV being the cause many lives will be lost.
