Scientists simply study how the world works and many times the world works in a very common sense way. However, the language of science can leave most people wondering what you are talking about. Sullivan tries to avoid a lot of the scientific language and therefore makes the site available to nearly everyone.

The Web is quickly becoming more than a market place for businesses. It is more than a quick way for scientists to communicate to each other. It is becoming a very important way to relay information to everyone with access to the Internet. The Cells Alive site is a pioneer in relaying science to the masses in an informative, entertaining, understandable, and innovative way. More and more science sites are following Cells Alive's lead. This is why I chose Cells Alive as a number one site.
