Low Tech Means to Protect Yourself From Flu

then try to avoid hand shaking or taking things from others you know are ill. If you can't wash take with you a hand sanitizer. These sanitizers will kill most infectious bacteria and many viruses. They come in conveniently sized packages so that you can discreetly sanitize your hands anywhere you go. They are inexpensive and they work. Other things you can do to protect yourself this flu season include:
  • Avoid close contact. Avoid close contact with people who are sick. When you are sick, keep your distance from others to protect them from getting sick too.
  • Stay home when you are sick. If possible, stay home from work, school, and errands when you are sick. You will help prevent others from catching your illness.
  • Cover your mouth and nose. Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing. It may prevent those around you from getting sick.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth. Germs are often spread when a person touches something that is contaminated with germs and then touches his or her eyes, nose, or mouth.

So in conclusion yes I think the expensive pills are helpful and will save lives however, if we will only do a few simple and inexpensive things we could prevent many diseases and save ourselves a lot of money and illness in the meantime.
