Look out your window. What types of animals to you see? If you live in my part of the world, you might see birds, jackrabbits, or lizards. Those of you who don't live in a desert may see deer, bunnies, squirrels, elk and robins. Animals have one important thing in common. They trust in Spirit completely to provide all that they need when they need it. An animal does not save food against the possibility of lack. Their instinct does not allow for the possibility of lack.

Trees, flowers, grasses and other types of vegetation rely on the sun, water and soil for their existence. They don't store extra food or water against a time of lack. Spirit takes care and provides for them on a daily basis.

Babies and young children, also posses this absolute faith that their needs will be met. A newborn babe cries, letting its caretaker know that it needs something. Immediately, the baby is provided with food, comfort, or whatever it may need. The baby learns from this to trust its environment to provide for its needs. As that baby grows into a toddler it begins to walk, talk and explore its world. All the time, knowing that the world will care for it and meet all it's needs. Children do not worry what will happen tomorrow. They live, thrive and have faith in today.

Truly, the only child of Spirit who prepares against a possible future lack is the human adult. What do the animals, trees and children know that we don't? They all have the instinct that there is no lack of anything in Spirit. They know Spirit does not give us food, or money. Spirit gives us an understanding of the Laws that govern being and prosperity. Each of us has within us the knowledge of Spirit to manifest all that we need. There is enough of everything to provide for each and every being on this planet in abundance. I remember hearing once that if all the money in the world were evenly distributed, every man, woman, and child on this earth would have more money than they could spend in a life time.

What is it that you want? What ever it is, you have the means to attain it. All ideas and all desires come from Spirit. You are a part of Spirit. Therefore, you cannot desire anything that is not already yours. All you need to do is allow
