MarriageJesus said that a man and his wife are no longer two, but one. Think about that. You and your spouse now follow the same spiritual path. Your growth and spiritual understanding are intertwined. In God's eyes, you are one. Treat your spouse with the love and understanding you wish to receive. Strive to understand your spouse as you understand yourself. Share in the joys and heartaches of your spouse. Allow yourselves to be of one heart, and one mind. Banish the fear, for fear has no place in Love. These are the things God asks each of us to do with our marriage. The challenge is to learn, understand and manifest these Spiritual Laws. It is not an easy task, but I suppose nothing of any meaning is ever easy. My husband and I have learned a lot from each other over the last few weeks. The most important, I think, is to never allow hurt, anger or frustration to cloud the Truth. We've also learned to express our love and appreciation for each other, no matter what. It doesn't matter if we're both exhausted, or grumpy from work. Those feelings have no place in our marriage. It's our job to always remember to honor and bless our marriage and each other. We must always remember there is no him and no me. There is only us, and to be one with God we must be one with each other as well. May Spirit bless your marriage as He has mine. Love, Light and Blessings.
