Love isn't love until you give it away


baby or an operation, visiting someone you know who is in hospital, writing a card to acknowledge the effort someone else has made to make your life easier, offering to babysit a new mother in town who is still finding her way. The list is endless. I have just listed the things that spring to mind, and they are probably a bit one sided. You know what you are good at. Offer that service. Be good to others, and see how the quality of your life improves. I have just been a Reading a Book called "Don't stress the small stuff" by Richard Carlson. He discusses quite a few basic principles for enriching your life, and I truly think that if your life needs a pick-me-up, you might get hold of one of the books in this series. The one I read, and which made me feel a bit more worthy, was "Don't Sweat the Small Stuff for Mothers".
