To all non-sports citizens out there, the term "prevent defense" is used in pro football, and describes a strategic defense used against an opposing offense to prevent them from scoring. The prevent defense is the best strategy to prevent illness. Here are some links that take this to heart.

The key to prevention is maintaining a regular appointment with a health professional. Having trouble seeking a good doctor? The people at Medseek maintain a physician and hospital web page that hopes to shorten the search.

Exercise is Medicine. This is a slogan used by one of my favorite medical journals, and is something I take to heart. The Health and Fitness Home Page and the Diet and Weight Loss/Fitness Page are just two of many good sources on the net.

Interested in home medical testing? There are a lot of products out there, and these Kentucky students assessed everything from blood pressure monitors to home pregnancy tests. Check them out at the Home Diagnostic Kits Homepage.
