Mainstream media discovers 9-11 "conspiracy theory"?

Just when I thought the latest 9-11 conspiracy theory put out by a site called "http://www.konformist.com/"--that a "pro-Bush faction" was responsible for 9-11, a theory backed in part by the more noteworthy Emperor's New Clothes newssite at "http://www.tenc.com" (one of the first sites to connect bin Laden to the CIA)--was hogwash sensationalism to get more Web hits, a slew of mainstream news Internet sites stops just short of actually positing the unthinkable: If the CIA created bin Laden, were the consequences (9-11) unintended or (God fobid) intended? Some of the article links I have collected over the past couple of weeks are below, so the reader can check it out:

Then you have CBS's "Sixty Minutes II" on Wednesday night. Neither Dan Rather nor anyone else has actually come right out and said bin Laden was created by the CIA when the mujahadeen he was with in Afghanistan fought the Soviets (instead saying something like "The CIA trained and funded with the mujahadeen"), but I hope at least some thinking Americans can make the connection on their own. Now this past Wednesday night when the discussion was about the intelligence community, an official with the FBI came out and said that news reports from Al Jazeera TV in Qatar had to be censored because "sleepers" in bin Laden's USA organization might "wake up" when Osama waved a finger or said a phrase, then go out and distribute anthrax or something; for much the same reason Bush wants US news reports censored (see "http://news1.iwon.com/article/id/175045/...")--Secretary of State Colin Powell has already asked the Emir of Qatar to shut down Al-Jazeera, as of now the only news source for bin Laden's doings that is used by worldwide reporters on this issue.
Actually, when we were watching this we had a field day--"yeah, when bin Laden pick his nose, someone'll blow up the White House" (for you humorless flag-wavers: It's a joke, okay?) and the like... And it occurred to me that this is one heckuva conspiracy theory! We have to shut down Al-Jazeera because if we don't, bin Laden will wink, and the next thing you know, someone poisons the water supply of Los Angeles!
