Media Issues We'll Never See, Part 1

This series of articles will span several weeks and cover various fun and interesting topics that ought to interest the media pundits and moguls but won't--they don't have the time, the agenda, or the chutzpah to mention them.
And speaking of chutzpah....
Does anyone who consumes mainstream media news really believe that Gore picked Leiberman to be his running mate because Leiberman is Jewish? (Heck, even the "http://www.jewishworldreview.com" doesn't believe it!). Isn't it obvious that Big Al chose the Connecticut Senator because Leiberman is a political liberal but a moral conservative who, like Tipper (you know, Gore's wife?), wants to legislate morality, cram all of Hollywood's sex and violence down David Geffen's (male-part-sucking) throat, ban dirty rock lyrics and otherwise violate free speech. You know, the guy who can help distance Gore from his debauchery-loving boss, Mr. Bill?
So Leiberman helps Gore look more Republican. Big deal. By picking Leiberman, isn't Gore alienting himself from Hollywood big money (good grief, what with Gore's staff whining about all that dough Streisand and the like were hurling toward Mr. Bill's library and Ms. "Hill"s NY Senate race, with Gore not getting a dime--get a life!), from all those black votes, and-- heaven help the establishment media if this gets mentioned--all those Arab votes? Do you know that the number of Arab-Americans is greater then the number of Jewish-Americans? Well, now you know!
Which brings me to...speaking of blacks...
Not one in any media--left, right, center, weird--is speculating on what would the races be like (and, would Gore have picked a Jew) if Bush had not picked Cheyney--a real WASP type o' guy--but instead had picked Alan Keyes?
HA!
Forget for a minute that Keyes is most assuredly arch-conservative, has the blessings of certain "right-wing extremists" (not the real kind, you know, but "Militia Watchdog" Mark Pitcavage's kind, who are deemed so merely because they dare to be politically incorrect--"http://www.WorldNetDaily.com" extremist? Give me a break!), and is hated by the Washington establishment and power elites worldwide and thus could never be picked to be Bush's running mate--HE'S BLACK!
Imagine! Just who would the blacks vote for--do what they tend to do and vote Democrat, or vote for their race and go Republican? For one thing, it would have solved a big problem for blacks who just might have a problem voting for a Jew (for instance, that Dallas NAACP guy--okay, ex-NAACP guy). Second, the choice of Keyes would have firmly silenced all doubts in the minds of conservatives that Bush really is one of their own, and would have firmly put any Libertarian/Reform/Taxpayers/Perot/whatever voters solidly in the Bush camp. Blacks plus Arabs plus all card-carrying Conservatives/Christian Coalition/Non-confromists plus all you die-hard Republicans out there?
