Should it be regulated somehow? Any how? Should sites that disagree with the powers-that-be, the politically incorrect sites, be stamped out? Should so-called "hate sites" (according to "http://www.militia-watchdog.org", "http://www.splc.org", "http://www.hate-watch.org" for instance) be allowed on the Internet? Should porn sites, all close-to-a-million of them, be forced to close shop? Should all religions, even the cults and the unpopular ones including the non-501.c3's (the ones that don't have tax-exempt status), be allowed to have web space? Should four-letter-words be allowed on any web site or should they be censored? Should offensive words (other than hate speech) be allowed, or should they be censored? Should a "poll" or an event where all you editors out there can write articles answering these questions be allowed? Is an event like this valid or important? I hope Suite101.com thinks so, and I hope beginning Monday, July 10, 2000, this event will begin and you all participate! Deb Lagarde, CE, Media Issues
