I am not going to comdemn President Bush anymore for lying about Iraq, and, more to the point, I am not going to condemn Bill O'Reilly, Rush Limbaugh, any administration officials, any neocon (though this will be a supreme sacrifice on my part), Joseph Farah or any Israel-firster, any warhawk at WorldNetDaily or anywhere else in any medium (remember, medium is singular for media), anymore. That is, I am not going to attack any individual, no matter how odious their opinion is, no matter how much they lie to prop up US Imperialism and the coming American police state. I was going to, using Farah's bywords, "blast" or "lambast" Jessica Lynch for that million-dollar book deal that is supposed to make a heroine out of someone who probably deserves it the least, that is, herself. In the commentary I was writing for September, I even called her a "whore". But that won't appear here, because I am no longer going to condemn individuals in this space and, (Lord help me) any other occasion, for to do so goes against my faith. In the Gospel of John--the most interesting of the Gospels--Jesus rails against the Pharisees and the like, propmpting them to "remove the plank in your own eyes" instead of dwelling on the splinters in others' eyes. In other words, look at removing your own sinful ways instead of dwelling on the sinfil ways of others. To put it bluntly, don't be a hypocrite. Hypocrisy, you see, is, in Christians, the reason so many people oppose Christianity. It has nothing to do with Jesus and everything to do with the way Christians act. Thus, while I was considering letting this column lapse--trying to find the time to do everything else I have to do is of the essence--what the heck, it only takes about two hours of my time for a month, so I will keep on it, but not to condemn individuals. That won't keep me from exposing the lies, however, and that won't keep me from railing against the impersonal corporate media, conglomerate mergers, FCC rules that favor the conglomerates, agendas at certain news organs, the idiocies of pop culture, propaganda in general and exposing the brainwashing techniques used by the power elites against the intelligence of the American people, inducing in them the post-9-11 post traumatic stress disorder and cognitive dissonance, which continues to engulf the minds of America--the mythical 70% who still believe Saddam was in cahoots with al-Qaida!
