More Media Wars, "fair and balanced"others who have sworn to drive Israel into the sea, is ridiculous. I don't like the Amen Corner either, neocon or otherwise, but they don't run this country, pure and simple. As for WorldNetDaily's Ilana Mercer, born in Israel and now lives in the US vis Canada, read her screed here. And though WND has done a fairly extensive bit on how the "oppressed" Palestinians are trying to wipe out every last Jewish-Israeli man, woman, and child, the top research site on this issue is Emperor's Clothes. Tracing the issue back to the middle ages when Islam was conquering this area, editor Jared Israel and his co-workers have built the most compelling argument yet that folks like Arafat and his mentor, a mufti of Jerusalem who did Hitler's bidding in the Middle East by trying to wipe out every last Jew in that area, really have every intention of utterly destroying Israel. Read all about it at Palestine is our land and the Jews are our dogs, where you can find out what Arafat's PLO charter REALLY says and what the US media doesn't want you to know. Hey, I didn't want to believe it either! Twenty years ago, I was right on for Arafat and totally anti-Zionist. But the truth is, Palestine and the surrounding Arab countries really do want to kill every last Jewish man, woman, and child. But wouldn't you know it, the Bible's Book of Genesis foretells it. But, hey, because I really am "fair and balanced" (is FOX going to sue me for using this?), here is the link to Raimondo's reply to Mercer's article: "http://antiwar.com/justin/j081503.html". It's obvious to me Raimondo has never read the Israel file at Emperor's Clothes. But since I like most of what Raimondo says (hey, folks, that's kinda the way this pundit biz works, but since I largely go unnoticed--and let's keep it that way, because what I write is the message, not me--I can say whatever comes to me provided I prove it), what he insists he says is that it's not Israel he hates, but the "Amen Corner". Watch this now, I'll be dragged into this "you'er against Israel" or "you're too pro-Israel" nonsense as well! Yet my own feeling about Israel is that, one way or another, they have every right to defend themselves; further, the US isn't necessarily their best friend either. If this were "Middle East Issues" I'd elaborate on
