Most expected mothers take very good care of themselves physically, making sure that their unborn child is free of harm at all times. However, how many mothers are aware of the emotional vulnerability of their developing fetus? Medical research has proven that the uterine environment is not just subject to physical trauma but to emotional trauma as well. How can this be? Well when you really think about it makes a great deal of sense. Our emotions, whether happy, sad, or stressful have effects on our body, releasing hormones from time to time. These hormones are transmitted from the mother to the fetus via of the placenta. So when a mother feels excited her unborn child feels the effects of being excited, and when she feels blue her unborn child feels those effects also. Therefore, it is imperative that expected mothers strive to keep a positive attitude, always feeling good about themselves. They must always surround themselves in a positive environment, one which is pleasant, and stress-free, and they must never forget the emotional vulnerability of their unborn child.
In conclusion I can not stress to you the important role that fathers play during the entire pregnancy, not just during the birth of their babies. At times fathers may feel that they do not have an important role in the prenatal period because it is the mother who actually carries the child. However, on the contrary fathers are in a very powerful position, having the opportunity to be most helpful during pregnancy. They can make sure that the mothers of their children are getting all the support they need to give birth to a baby who is healthy both physically and mentally. Fathers can take away stressful situations, providing mothers with an environment that is supportive, allowing them to feel that they are not alone with the carrying of their unborn child. Some fathers may even feel at times that there is no avenue for them to bond with their unborn child, but this is not the way things really are. Fathers should talk to their unborn child as much as possible because a child iuteroro is receptive to communication from its entire world inside and outside of their mother's uterus. Fathers have such an opportunity to do a lot of good both to mother and child, all by staying connected with the mother as well as with their unborn child. There has never been nothing wrong with needing one another, has it? Remember it takes two to make the parenting situation work, two parents are needed before, during and after pregnancy.
