Mascot Talk

What? Mascot Talk? Okay, maybe mascots don't exactly talk..we all know that the first and most upmost rule of mascotting is NEVER TO TALK.

But nevertheless, mascots do communicate. Like mimes, they rely on their gestures and actions to communicate their feelings and thoughts.

As the UCA mascot guidelines dictate, it is pertinent that mascots keep their gestures simple and BIG in order for the fans to understand. But that doesn't limit the gestures that a mascot could still use!

Never fear--there is a form of "Universal Mascot-Speak". But don't think I'm just going to hand it right over without a little fun. Take the quiz, matching gesture to meaning and see how Mascot Speak savvy you really are.
