Holy Toledo, are we in for a wild ride, it is no wonder people on a roller coaster scream on the way down! What I find interesting is that there is a fundamental return to value. Whether its B2B, B2C, C2Y, Y2K, XYZ, WebWhatever!, value is where the buck truly stops. Where is your firm positioned in the value chain; where can you interrupt disintermediation, catch a few clicks, pocket a few bucks, and do it again, and again, and again? This is for you to figure out! Web businesses are great - as long as you have a long-term strategy; giving up too soon is nobody's best friend, however, having a long-term value proposition is the only thing that you should be banking on, whether in your career or in your gambling (oh, sorry, I meant investing)! Take it easy out there and remember, look under the covers and try to discover true value.
