    His latest release is Hurlyburly, based on the play by David Rabe. It tells the story of a group of friends in Hollywood whose lives are coming apart at the seams from drug abuse and a lack of real meaning in their lives. It has an all-star cast including Sean Penn, Robin Wright-Penn, Gary Shandling, Meg Ryan, Kevin Spacey and Anna Paquin. Chazz plays Phil, an out of work actor with a violent streak.
    "This guy who has 100,000 demons in him. He's trying to get his life together. He knows inside that he wants to be a good person, but he just can't. You know those people who just can't seem to get their life together, no matter how much they try? That's Phil. I think [he] is the most complex character I have ever played. There is so much darkness in him, but there is also a little light. Sometimes you're playing a character that really isn't likable, but the only way to play it is completely honest, and that was very important to us when we did this piece.

    It's a story about these people each of whom has a major flaw that they just can't seem to get over. If you allow yourself to fall into these demons of sex and women and success and drugs, it you will take you to your limits, chew you up and spit you out. And it does that to these guys.     He also had a small uncredited cameo in A Night At the Roxbury as Mr. Zadir, the owner of a nightclub.
