to create dragon or lion masks. Attach a ruler to the back of each mask as a handle. Lead your class on a Golden Dragon Parade through your school.

Days Four/Five - Combine the activities of these two days as follows: Have students create cards of good wishes by folding 9"x12" pieces of red construction paper in half. Have them decorate the fronts of their cards with the Chinese symbols for Gung Hay Fat Choy as shown. Have students complete their cards with good wishes inside, and present them to another. Then have students clean and sweep up the classroom for the first time in the New Year to welcome the good fortune this new year will bring.
