Make "Getting to Know Me" posters with your new students. Play "Bingo Get to Know Ya!". Share your favorite stories and let your students do the same. Learn about each other by holding class interviews and then "publishing" a class book. There are many fun ways to break the ice and start to build a feeling of community within your class.
