In a match scheduled to be broadcast on ESPN2, the Dallas Burn will take on the Columbus Crew on their home turf. Dallas returns to the Cotton Bowl after losing to the San Jose Earthquakes 5-0 in San Jose. BUt the Burn have been successful at home, and hope to see that trend continue. The Burn will essentially have all of their players available. The only player still out is Mark Dodd with a hand injury. The Crew will be missing three players for Saturday's game. Robert Warzycha is out due to the red card he received against Colorado, Todd Yeagley is gone due to an athletic hernia, and Brian Maisonneuve is out because of ankle surgery. The Burn will hope to recapture some of the fire in Ariel Graziani. Graziani had been one of the MLS points leaders before the San Jose match and had been carrying a streak a goal in each of his last two games. The Crew are hoping that Brian McBride will find his stride in the opposing box. Although he had several changes against Colorado, but was unable to convert any of them. The game will be televised at 8:00pm EST.

In their first meeting of the season, the Tampa Bay Mutiny will meet the Chicago Fire at Soldier Field. Hristo Stoitchkov is healthy and Tampa Bay may be tired. Tampa Bay just gave San Jose a 4-0 spanking in Tampa Bay on Wednesday. Although the Mutiny are possibly tired, the Fire have several players out to Olympic duty and just being tired. Chris Armas will have recently returned from the US loss in Russia. He will be suited up, but will not start. Josh Wolff and DaMarcus Beasley will both be gone with the US olympic team. The Fire may be able to capitalize on fatigue with the Mutiny, but the Mutiny may be able to take advantage of the dwindled number of Fire starters.

In a rematch of an early season contest, the Miami Fusion travel to Foxboro to face the New England Revolution. Miami makes the trip without the services of starting keeper Jeff Cassar who is out with right quad and groin strains. He is hoping that he may be able to play, but it looks like Miami is either going to start Garth Lagerwey or Nick Rimando in goal. The highest points leader for either team is Imad Baba for the New England Revs. He currently sits at number 13 with seven points total. Miami's offense has just flat struggled and is nearing the record for total minutes played without a goal. New England may surprise some folks and be the ones that come out ahead in this one.
