book. Remember that, with all magicks and energies, there are repercussions for your actions so you would want to avoid focusing on something negative, hurtful or controlling. For example if you wanted to charge a 'love talisman' you would want to envision yourself happily in love with someone, (nameless/faceless), not a specific person. That would be a type of control-spell and that's not good. If you were focusing on protection focus on the person you're wanting to protect, not the people you're protecting them from. See the theme? No harm, no control. That's what I, and many of my friends, stick to. It's the safest and least problematic. ;)
