First Impressions: Part Twothe full moon then do so, if it feels like it is cleansed in a day but you thought it would take a month don't worry about it. Do whatever your gut says is the best time, fashion, phase etc.. I will list a few of the more popular cleansing practices that I know of below, in no specific order; 1) Place the item in a bowl or jar of dry sea salt, (do NOT add water if the item is a stone or crystal etc., the saltwater will get into the crevices and ruin the stone), some do this until the item feels cleansed some do it for a full month. Some place the salt and item in a window and some put them in a closet or dark place from one full moon cycle to the next, (full moon to next full moon or new moon to next new moon etc.). Do whatever you feel will fill the bill. 2) Place the item in a box and put it in a closet for a month and/or from one full moon cycle. 3) Bury the item in the dirt. Some do this in front of a particular type of tree. Willows and Pine trees are known for being good at cleansing etc. so you might use them or a different one, whatever you prefer. 4) Place the item in a fountain or river, (if you can tie it to the riverbed etc. so you won't lose it). Running water is a very good way to cleanse something. Obviously the river is better because the water isn't being recycled but, do what you can. 5) Place the item next to, or in a bowl with, other items that will help cleanse it; crystals, hematite, (grounding), dirt/soil, copper etc.. So those are just a few ideas. Amount of time is completely subjective in my opinion. Some things may take a month but some may only take a day, it depends on how badly it needs to be cleansed, it's size and the moon cycle etc.. It is good to remember that, usually, the full moon or waxing moon, (from new to full), is good to start something and the new moon or waning moon, (from full to new), is good to undo things. So, for cleansing you may want to use the waning moon and for re-charging you may want to use the waxing moon. In my opinion, this
