My 'Arse' Is Dragon

I know, very punny, sorry it couldn't be helped. LOL

This month I'd like to bring you to the realm of the dragon... through fire and mystery, power and battle.

Think of finding a cave on a cliff and cautiously hiking into it. You smell sulfur and the cave is, oddly, warm. There is a glow, amost a haze to this place. As you wander in you hear a low rumble and snort. You stop dead in your tracks, not sure of what lies ahead. As you come around the coner, into the light, you spot a black dragon, curled up like a cat, snoring happily among his treasures. You trip on a rock and one glowing, amber eye opens...

Haven't we all thought of finding a dragon at some point? Ok maybe just me and a few of my gamer friends. ;) The excitement of something so huge and strong yet hidden and learned is quite a pull for many. Some say you don't have to dream to meet them.

Many believe that dragons are not myth or extinct but are in another realm or plane that we can access from where we are, at will. http://ahpweb.org/pub/perspective/whenan... As for meeting or summoning a dragon, I don't know about you, but I believe that putting a mental invite out would be safer than demanding their presence but that's just me.

Have you ever seen one? Maybe out of the corner of your eye? Maybe a small one or a baby playing with your child?

I have never had the pleasure of a lengthy visit, just a glimpse now and then but if you're a big fan, or even believe that you *are* a dragon, as some do from what I've heard... here's a place where you can test your own draconity; http://www.armory.com/tests/draconity.ht...

If you're a novice and just want a little bit of info. check out this site; http://home1.gte.net/skye/page2/fltoffan...

But if you want more info, and are craving specifics of dragon types go here for their history; http://www.draconian.com/history/history...

and here for their statistics; http://www.draconian.com/whatis/whatis.h...

As for communing with dragons, I couldn't find much online, (I have been searching intensively for about 2 weeks), but it has been my experience that just thinking about them, maybe in a meditation, and inviting them to visit you might be enough. I guess there's only one way to find out! As I said, though, I think that it is safest to invite and thank them, not summon them and try to control them... one could get burned very badly I'm guessing.

One resource I have found beneficial when talking about dragons is "Dancing With Dragons" by D. J. Conway published by Llwellyn Publishing. As with all books on magic take what you can and discard th ...

Try closing your eyes, placing your hands flat on your knees and visualising a cave. Then let the dragon emerge. This is an ideal way to see your *own* dragon, and not somebody else's!
