Angels and Archangels...


Whether Christian or non, Angels have probably have some kind of impact or curiosity to you.

The last time we discussed angels we heard a few interesting stories, once again, I would love to hear from everyone, your stories and ideas, even your philosophies.

I, being an artist, have always identified with the artistry surrounding angels and their beauty, (also their sex-lessness was always a curiosity). I found some beautiful medieval paintings; http://www.stjohndc.org/tour/angels.htm as well as some newer references.

Many people of other religions have felt a closeness with angels as well and some have even integrated their ceremonies to include them. I have never had the pleasure of seeing an Archangel or 'talking' with one but I've heard wonderful stories!

The most recent time that I thought that I was being 'protected' was the other day. I was driving home from my parents and I suddenly thought that I should slow down, it was thundering out but it has been the whole way.

When I decided to slow down I heard a crack and then, about 3 feet in front of my car, lightening struck. The radio went fuzzy and I was so stunned that I didn't even realize what had happened for a few seconds. My heart was in my throat and I just looked up as if to say, "Wow! Thanks for lookin' out for me!"

So, that's my most recent 'coincidence' ;)
