Simply Consumerism

Simple Living newsletter was created in 1992 by Janet Luhrs, who left her law career to find simplicity. Not surprisingly, she loved the simplicity of streamlining her life so she had time to do the things she loved. Janet even created her own definition of simplicity: "a set of tools that you can use to get your life back."

Simple Living newsletter "connects you with people, products, and ideas that allow you to live more simply." Although the newsletter includes articles with time and money saving ideas, the newsletter's website has a store with Jane Luhrs' recommended products. These products include a yogurt maker (what kind of life have I been living without one of these?) and pricey sunscreen. You're right, Janet, no wonder we live in a nation of overspenders.
