Love movies? Then you need Movie Magic© Destin Hebert
Being a loyal fantasy and Lord of the Rings fan I had to pick up a copy of Movie Magic when on the cover page it stated "Sneak preview! The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King." Thus I opened the page and after briefly reading through the large Harry Potter section, Spider-Man section, Hulk section, and Matrix Reloaded section I finally got to the pot of gold. Eight entire pages devoted to the story of the making of The Lord of the Rings movie trilogy. After enjoying the stories and insights of wonderful movie making I ventured to review the magazine. Movie Magic really means it when they say sneak preview. In fact it's more than that. The content it provides encourages you to watch the movies so much that its torture knowing that you'll have to wait to see them. There are no departments in this issue for it was a collector's edition; therefore, I will review their content of the biggest movie in the magazine, Lord of the Rings.
The Lord of the Rings Up Close and Personal With Elijah Wood By now everyone should know that I very much enjoy the story and the movie. Being a fan of the story (which has been in existence for years) I really put in an effort to give it a good review. The section begins with "Up Close and Personal With Elijah Wood." This three page section is an interview with Elijah Wood who perfectly played the hobbit Frodo Baggins. One of the best things about this section is that the interviewer does not waste your time and Elijah's time by asking ignorant off the mark questions. This particular interviewer asks interesting questions down to the point. I guarantee that when you read this interview you will know a few things you didn't know before. Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring This section completely reviews the first part of the tale as told by the movie. The descriptions and in-sights are well written and will encourage you to watch the first film over again. This section not only provides the story but it also quotes from the people who came together to produce such a monstrous film project. Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers This section is completely comparable to the first except it reviews the second part of the tale. The descriptions and quotes are amazing and the movie stills are breath taking. Reading this section will have you begging New Line for an early release of the DVD. Go To Page: 1 2
