Get Your Moves Back

After doing the morning exercises for a few days move on to walking. The very best walking is done on an electric treadmill. It's a consistent speed, level with a cushioned surface and there are no obstacles to deal with. The next best area for walking is at an indoor shopping mall but more of a challenge to keep a steady pace to get the aerobic benefits. Again, start at a low speed, 1.5 - 2.0 mph and gradually work up to a higher speed. (That can take months to years, depending on the extend the Lyme disease has affected your heart and lungs.)

Another good exercise is a stationary bike. The movement will free plaque from your aching joints and give you greater mobility. Start at the "0" tension and gradually work up to where you can ride at a steady speed for 20 minutes before moving to the next tension level.

You can alternate using the treadmill and the bike every other day and gradually build up to doing both every day. Again, this may take months to years to accomplish, depending on your condition.

You may have to take a short nap each time you exercise, but the need for that will diminish as your stamina increases.

Exercise will raise your body temperature and increase your blood flow and that kills spirochetes. Then take a hot shower and let the water beat on your chest then on your backbone and kill some more spirochetes.

Antibiotics and supplements can be more effective if you take an ACTIVE part in the battle. This is your body and you will have to FIGHT HARD to make it healthy again.
