They came back to the house and stayed the night. In the morning, the grandmother gave Faith another treatment. The pus is gone and the wound looks very healthy. I gave the mother 3000 Kenyan shillings (about $38) to buy some protein like beans and omena (a small fish that looks like a minnow and is very cheap). David told her we will be back to check and if she hasn't purchased the food and does not have the money, she will not get any help ever again (of course we will always help the children, he was just trying to get her to comply). He feels she will be compliant. She loves and cares for her grandchildren very much and she is well known to the Chuchu clan.
