a man-made creed? Yes. Is it wrong to use a man-made creed? If that is the case, then we must also cease using the Apostles' Creed, which is also man-made and not inspired by God. But it is not wrong to set forth your positions and beliefs on doctrine. As such they let others know who you are and who you are not. And that is how you determine whether two Christians are united in the spirit of faith!
