Gout and Lutherans


Finally, Jesus often referred to heaven as a feast. And what do you find at feast but rich foods! Which reminds me of another seminary professor who declared the song "In Heaven There is no Beer" as heresy. Why? Because Jesus often referred to heaven as being a feast. And any good German knows that there is no feast where there I no beer.

I hope you enjoyed this light-hearted look at Lutheran heritage! And, no, I'm not suffering from the gout--although I've attended enough potlucks and drank enough coffee to qualify!
