Luther's Tragic Mistake: Commentary on Parts 6-11never dreamed about days, months, years, or even centuries down the world? In this last week we have seen Luther stake a claim that the Jews in their Purim are bloodthirsty. Is this section also used in hate crimes against Jewish people not only in Hitler's day but yet today? Do we make generalizations about any other ethnic group? Gracious Lord, grant to us a spirit of wisdom and grace to keep our mouths shut on issues we may know nothing about, or should leave better unsaid. Create in us clean hearts to see beyond racial identities and see, as you do, individuals created by you, redeemed by you through your blood, and claimed as your own children.
