Time of Grace Ministry

Time of Grace is a multimedia Christian ministry. Currently Time of Grace airs a half-hour show on TV 18 (WB 18) at 8AM on Sunday mornings in the Milwaukee area. The plan is to make Time of Grace a national broadcast.

Time of Grace Ministry is a Biblically-sound, Christian program that continues to be the inspired vision of eight caring Christian laymen. Over the next five years, Time of Grace Ministry's goal is to expand across the United States and reach 95% of all U.S. households. Time of Grace currently airs in Milwaukee on WVTV WB 18 and can also be seen on cable in the Sheboygan, WI, area on cable channel 18.

Time of Grace features the dynamic words and messages of Mark Jeske, pastor of St. Marcus Evangelical Lutheran Church in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Pastor Jeske's message of God's love and forgiveness - which is relevant for any age, ethnicity or background - is clearly demonstrated by the variety of people who crowd St. Marcus Church each Sunday.

Time of Grace President Daryl Raabe comments on the need to support ministries like this: "We ask the question 'what are we here for?' and 'how much do we need?' When something like Time of Grace becomes available, what better opportunity than to take those blessings and put them back to work for the Lord who gave them to us in the first place."

Mark Jeske on his role as the Messenger of Time of Grace, "The only thing that interests me is making God's word open and plain to people so that they can hear, feel, and sense the great love and aching desire that God has to have them united or maybe 're-united' with his family."

I have watched Time of Grace from its inception when it aired on Fox 6 TV in Milwaukee. I have enjoyed Rev. Jeske's didactic approach and down-home style as he relates to the person in the pew. I was also pleased when one broadcast showed an infant baptism and Rev. Jeske explained what baptism means to a Christian.

I was pleased to serve on a discussion panel on Christian broadcasting in general and Time of Grace in particular a little more than a year ago. The panel was gathered from those of us who visited the web site and left contact information. It was amazing to see that not all who watched the show were Wisconsin Synod (WELS). Only half of us were (and one of the others is a member of my congregation). It was also heartening to see that there were non-church goers there who saw the broadcast as refreshing and made it a part of their viewing habits.
