The Cop's Daughter

this opportunity to thank those heroes, especially those whose hard work and sacrifice is largely taken for granted. I would like to recognize the families and loved ones who put in just as many years with the police and fire departments, but who never earn a medal, or get a commendation. I would like to ask everyone to remember that as a peace- and freedom-loving people that we MUST NOT allow hatred, bigotry and anger rule our lives and dictate our actions. And I would like everyone to do what they can to help out, whether it's donations of supplies, money or time, or if it's just hanging up the American flag.

And I would like to take this opportunity to say that I am proud not only of being a Cop's daughter, but I am proud of being a New Yorker.

Please pass da kawfee, and we'll tawk some maw.
