working with the youth passed through the audience holding up the
Eucharist in procession. Youth who were deeply hurt and in need of
healing were weeping and laughing; young men and women saw visions of
deceased parents extending their love. It was, in short: awesome and
incredible. The next day, young people came up to the microphone and gave their testimonies of how they were healed by Jesus in the
Eucharist. AWESOME. You have never seen or experienced anything like it. GO.*
The cost of a Steubenville South weekend is reasoable. This year persons residing within the diocese are paying $100 and persons living beyond the diocese borders $120. This includes housing and meals. The cost varies per year. Persons should also bring their own spending money for snacks, etc. Since the attendees of Steubenville South are housed in high schools, they should bring sleeping bags and an air mattress, if desired, and their own towels, washcloths, soap and other toiletries. A reliable source says that the youth should also bring water pistols. For more information, call (318) 473-0539 Extension 212. Reservations for each year's event are due about three months ahead of the weekend. *From the Catholic Information Network (CIN) archives of their CINChar (CIN Charismatic) discussion group More Official Steubenville Page at the Diocese of Alexandria website.
