Timothea: Siren to Wail

The concert ended with an auction. A number of businesses, restaurants, artists and photographers donated items that were auctioned off to augment the funds raised by ticket sales to provide public education and HCV screening programs for the people of Louisiana.

  • The success of the April 2000 Howlin' Wolf concert has inspired Timothea to attempt to take the show on the road as a medium for gaining attention for this public health challenge. Timothea is beginning a "Siren to Wail" Hepatitis C Awareness tour of the South and Southeast.

Timothea and Hep-C ALERT are looking for help for the "Siren to Wail" tour. In particular, they are looking for artistic and production personnel, staff and promotional support, and financial assistance. See their web sites for contact information.
