6) Beardies need love. No kidding. Isn't that why you got a pet lizard in the first place? So you could hold it, play with it, give it love? Beardies really do love the attention and holding - yes, you must first get them used to it, as you must do with any animal or other living creature. They also love to play. Just watch when you take them out of their cage and place them on the floor with you - REMEMBER to ensure that there are no places in the area that can hurt them or that they will get stuck under/in/etc. Putting Beardies on tables and ledges will invite trouble - yep, they do love to explore - and yep, they love high places - so just make sure you place a soft landing for them.
