It’s that time again. Yes...that wondrous time of year, when good cheer fills the air.
Christmas carols ring a jolly resonance within our souls. It’s time to put up the tree, and make merry. Yes, I am getting into the Christmas spirt, just as I do every year. I am a Christmas enthusiast. I love everything about it--the shopping, wrapping gifts, and even decorating the tree. Okay. So maybe you wouldn’t want to be stuck with me at the mall in December, but I have several tips that can help make your holiday season a little brighter and merrier. Make your own Christmas cards. If your budget is tight, encourage your children to write their own messages inside of the cards. Chances are that the kids will write something even more witty and meaningful than a store-bought card. Plus, your children feel good about helping you, and the cards will seem extra special to them, because they were involved in the creation process. If you want a more professional look andhave the resources, you can buy a cd-rom for your computer that allows you to design professional, store quality greeting cards. This software allows you to edit the verses and even write your own greeting card poems. Instead, I browse around the swarming throngs of shoppers, just to find that extra something, and smile at the children as they follow their parents in a buying frenzy. Watching Christmas movies has been a tradition that has helped me capture the Christmas spirit year after year.
