One Month For YOU

There's one more month of summer left, so what are you going to do with it?

Concerts, beaches, time to relax...sometimes it's so easy for us to get bombarded with free time and all the relaxing options we have! But before you get stressed, think about hwat you really want to do during the next month that you can't otherwise do in the winter.

For many, that would be to make use of hte warmer weather, depending on where you are. What can't you do in November that you're always itching to do as the weather begins to get frigid? Go to the beach, catch an outdoor concert, get active in water spots, eat outside...these are all great examples of things to do during the next month.

Food is always a plus, and when it comes to summer, the good stuff is definitely seasonal. Munch on some sun-ripened cantaloupe, watermelon and strawberries. Also, if you're a tea drinker, get that pitcher of sun tea going, because it never turns out uite the same despite February's cool haze called sun.

Are you itching to take a vacation? Though you may not be able to jet off to a fantasy tropical location, you can go somewhere close that will provide you with a place to getaway. Pop on the internet and look up some nearby states...check out what their tourism departments have to offer. Usually, you can find a wealth of activities going on that are perfect for a short, weekend trip. These are less expensive than the jet off to the Bahamas or California, and just as effective.

Relax! Many times, during the rest of the year, it's easy to get bombarded with the numerous tasks that time demands of you. (If you're a parent and your children are heading back to school in a few weeks, you know this one all too well!)

But there is hope! Maybe you don't need a spectacular vacation to make your summer a calming experience. While you can, take time to read that killer bestseller that's been adorning your night stand without readership avail for the past couple of months.

No matter what situation you're in, it's important to do all that you can now, and take advantage of the season that many say never lasts long enough.

You have one month...what are you waiting for?
