Are the buildings numbered in order around the block? "Well, yes, in many cases. But sometimes numbers are skipped." I've also heard it said that the buildings are numbered from oldest to newest. Is that true? "It can be that way sometimes. And then there are cases like, in southern Fussa once, we renumbered all the houses in a section." So it's basically case by case, isn't it? "Well, pretty much, yes." Forget Einstein. Intelligence won't help you find an address in Japan. You need ESP.
