From lectures and seminars to walking tours of Wordsworth's favorite places, there will be something to interest everyone. Scholars, students, and literary fans from all areas of study will participate in two weeks of intellectual exchange. Each day is scheduled with a variety of lectures and presentations and the evenings will be filled with lively literary conversations in village pubs. Serious study is only a part of this charming conference, as bus trips to nearby Hawkshead and Kendal are scheduled along with a weekend day trip to Scotland or the Borders. Outdoors enthusiasts will also enjoy a variety of opportunities for walking, mountain climbing, and swimming.
