Love. That is what the month of February is all about. Love for others. Love of life. Love of what you do. Love of everything and anything. As writers, we love to write. That is what makes us sit down with our pen and paper or our keyboard day after day or night after night as the case may be. If we didn't love to write, we wouldn't do it. If we didn't feel something deep down with in us to create with words, we would never make that journey on a daily basis.
I have always loved to write. Even before I could write stories, I would create these wonderful stories with words. My mom saw my enthusiam for creation at an early age and encouraged it by buying me a tape recorder so that I could tape what I said. These were stories. If only I had those tapes now. As I grew older and I began to write stories. Filled pages and pages with words that created characters and descriptions. I knew that I wanted to write forever because nothing else made me happier than writing. Sometimes you forget that you write because it is what you love to do. It happens to everyone. You just write, but you don't feel it. It happened to me recently. I was just writing to write. Not because I wanted to, or because I loved doing it. them I wrote something on the spur of the moment. A short story for a close friend, and after I wrote it and I read it, I felt tears coming to the corners of my eyes because the story was just so touching. I asked myself did I write that? With that one story, I rediscovered why I loved to write. Over the past month, I have been thinking a lot about writing and considering whether or not I would remain writing here at the Suite. After much thought, I have decided to stay writing articles on a monthly basis. I realized I would be letting you all of my wonderful readers down if I just up and left, so here I am to stay. This month's market and contest are: Market of the Month Go To Page: 1 2
