probably right, and avoid any arguments with them, because that's a really stupid
argument to me. Sometimes they say "Oh, so you design websites?" and
I tell them no; and then really the only thing to do is explain a piece to them,
or give them my url. Then I get email from them a few days later with a sort
of eureka phenomenon going on. But honestly, I hardly mention to anyone I know
about what I am doing. It's not something that comes up in day to day life.
"Oh, that reminds me of internet-based artwork!" My parents didn't
even know what I was doing until it was in the New York Times.
