watching it rattle and knock on tile floor below, I decided to try an experiment....I went to all the local stores for weeks, buying as many bouncy balls I could find...churning quarters into machines and searching toy departments.... with an overflowing bucket of hundreds of bouncy balls I ran the stairs to the fourth floor of the building, reached precariously far over the railing...... and tossed the entire lot down....an amazing sight watching these balls of varied colors and sizes fall in a tight group....and then once they hit....twenty seconds of scattered thumps and collisions....balls knocking balls....bouncing as high as the second floor....invading classrooms?. whacking pop machines?.. a truly chaotic and yet ordered frenzy of colors and sounds and movement...."

"Few memories are better... those falling and bouncing balls are hypermedia.... days and weeks of gathering and creating... all for a brief crashing accident?.. a particle board assemblage of medias, pressed and formed to reach that place in the back of our brain, away from the frontal lobes..."
