It's been two years ago, February 13 of 1999 that I started writing for Suite101. I don't have to tell you the whole story again, because you can read it at the 1st Annual thing. What has happened in the past year? The site changed format twice, once it got rid of the little folder things at the top of the page and replaced them with, well circular things. And the second most recently, was a reorganization of the whole site which means that the categories we were in before don't exist anymore and its basically like a library now. Donald Blair, Jr. (Life in Toronto) isn't my manager anymore; now its J. M. Bridgeman (Canadian History & Culture). A friend of mine, who used to write History of Rock has retired his topic at Suite101, so has one of my old teachers, who wrote France and the French. Anyway, lets get to the little useless stats I gave out last year. But now they're updated.
According to ratings, here are the best articles I've written. TOP TEN: 1-Maurice Richard: hero d'un people: A Tribute to the best man to ever lace up a pair of skates. 2-Elections: Part I, the Liberal Party of Canada: The first part of the Election 2000, series. 3-Pierre Elliott Trudeau, 1919-2000: A Tribute to one of the most loved, and hated, Prime Ministers of all time. 4-Scottish Canadians: A little article about Scots who made it big in Canada 5-Stratford Festival: A little history of Ontario's Shakespearean Festival 6-Hockey: Game or Religion: A Rant about Hockey! 7-Remember those who fought: Three Canadian Battles: A Remembrance Day Special about three significant battles in Canadian Military History. 8-Saint Martyrs of Canada: Jesuit Priests were Martyred in the early days of Canada and then became Saints. 9-Nunavut: Still on the list since last year. 10-Water in Canada: Canada's most important resource.
