Stratford FestivalShakespeare's Titus Andronicus, his first tragedy, plays at the Tom Patterson Theatre. James Blendick plays Titus Andronicus. Medea, a greek tragedy by Euripides stars Seana McKenna as Medea, the sorceress who plans revenge on her husband. Elizabeth Rex, by Canadian author Timothy Findley, is the encounter between Elizabeth I (Diane D'Aquila) and William Shakespeare (Peter Hutt). Collected Stories by Donald Margulies is the story of a friendship between an aging writer and her protégé that turns to betrayal. It is a two person play, played by Uta Hagen and Lorca Simons. Oscar Remembered is the life of Oscar Wilde seen by the eyes of Lord Alfred Douglas (Michael Therriault). In case you're wondering why so much Oscar Wilde it is because there's part of the Wilde Celebration, a mini-festival that is played at the Avon and Tom Patterson Theatres.
